Privacy policy

vbits datasets are 100% synthetic. They are generated for a specification. They are not copied from real customers, patients, or accounts.

A dataset from vbits does not contain a real person's name, contact details, account history, or medical record. It does not identify a real individual.

Please do not put real personal data in a dataset request. The form is for describing the synthetic set you want.

The only information you give this site is what you type into the custom-dataset request form:

• Email
• Data type
• Fields needed
• Volume
• Format
• Use case

The form sends those fields as JSON to a form service we configure. Nothing else on the site asks for your name, email, or payment details.

Vercel hosts the site. Like most hosts, Vercel keeps standard server logs. Those logs can include your IP address, the page you requested, the date and time, and your browser type. vbits does not add its own analytics on top of that. We do not use the logs to identify you or to answer a dataset request.

Vercel hosts vbits.shop and receives the server logs described above. Their policy is the Vercel Privacy Policy.

The form endpoint provider receives the JSON from the request form so we can read it. Which company that is depends on the endpoint configured for this site. That provider stores the submission under its own policy. We do not run a database of our own for these requests.

Datarade is where a dataset is sold. If you buy one, that purchase is on Datarade, and Datarade's privacy policy governs it. This site does not take payment and does not receive your card number or your Datarade account.

We keep a request so we can answer it and handle follow-up about that dataset. This site does not set an automatic deletion date. When the conversation is finished, or when you ask us to delete the request, we delete what we still hold and we ask the form provider to delete its copy.

Server logs stay with Vercel. Vercel decides how long those logs are kept. We do not set that schedule, and we do not keep a separate copy.

You can ask for access to the personal information we have from your request, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@vbits.shop. Write from the address you used on the form, say which request you mean, and say whether you want a copy or deletion.

Privacy laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act give people rights of this kind. Where a law like that applies to you, you can ask us to:

• Know whether we have personal information about you, and what it is.
• Receive a copy of that information.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete it.
• Opt out of the sale of personal information, and of sharing it for cross-context advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
• Not be denied service, charged a different price, or treated worse because you made one of these requests.

Email the same address to make any of those requests. We will reply by email. We do not charge a fee for asking. This section describes those rights in plain language. It is not a statement that a particular law applies to every visitor, and vbits does not claim a certification under those laws.
